Spotlighting Womxn Community Champions
The YIELD Trust’s Spotlighting Womxn Community Champions during 16 days of activism is a novel structure that seeks to capacity strengthen and activate young women to take up spaces in communities and leadership in eliminating gender-based violence.This initiative aims to have a vast and strong network of empowered young women offline and online who are a critical mass in overcoming the epidemic of gender-based violence in Zimbabwe and the world.
YIELD Trust has gathered a diverse group of 16 womxn community champions who have demonstrated dedication and commitment towards improving their community; and these are their stories, hopes, dreams and demands for this year’s 16 Days of Activism. We will unlock one story per day.
